Holidays can be stressful; how can I help?

I know what you’re thinking…

It’s only the middle of September.

How on earth am I already talking about the holidays? 🤪

But here’s the thing: I’ve noticed that for many of my clients, the holidays come with a lot of stress.

You’ve got Crazy Uncle Jim’s wild stories.

Cousin Bertha’s offhanded, maybe even uncomfortable, remarks.

Grandma insisting you try just one more slice of pie (and those five cookies) even though you’re trying to stay on track with your eating.

Then there’s the whole whirlwind of getting the food ready, buying and wrapping gifts, and let’s not even start on cleaning the house!

It’s a lot.

A few years ago, I decided to take a different approach. I began practicing a few things that really helped take the stress down a notch—they even brought a bit of peace. ✌️

I’d love to share those ideas with you as we move closer to the holidays.

Here’s the deal—I can’t change Uncle Jim, Cousin Bertha, or Grandma. What I can do is offer strategies to help you handle their comments and manage those feelings that bubble up when you’re around them.
